Today I attended a breadmaking workshop at the CC by Eileen Goh. She taught us French Loaf and Pumpkin Bread. I had gone with the intention to find out more about another course by her and to see if she is a good trainer. Frankly I did not pin high hope since her class seems to be kept postponing due to poor sign-up. But turn out that she is actually very experienced and knowledgeable. According to her, the poor sign-up rate for her classes is due to the poor marketing done. Anyway, no regret going to the class. Think I will be attending other classes by her.
She is very sweet, even made us hotdog bun as dinner since she knew most of us rush to class from work.
This is the French Loaf, the small one is made by Eileen from the excess dough.
This is the Pumpkin bread, I do not fancy pumpkin actually, but this actually smells quite nice. Maybe I will try making when I get pumpkin.
Due to the limited class time, the breads do not have sufficient time to be baked and they did not proof enough too as the classroom is rather cold. Eileen has to distribute to us the uncooked bread for us to continue at home as the cleaner lady is already waiting for us to go. As I am writing this, I am still toasting the uncooked bread in the kitchen now. I have to check every now and then to see if they are done as they are wrapped in foil to prevent burning. Hope they turn out well.
